it's almost like people would read the name of a thread and realize that its about YTMND
almost
it's funny because it misses the point entirely
since you're here, I always wanted to know: how do you people use a computer mouse without any fucking thumbs?

Calling anything "Best ____ Ever" can pretty much take a hike, too. It's like mail that reads "OPEN IMMEDIATELY, URGENT," which really means, "IGNORE, CREDIT CARD SPAM."

What
is your point then?
I think this is a perfectly legitimate thread. Stupid, but legitimate.

The point (which really ought to be obvious to anyone) is if you really must inflict lame YTMNDs on us, you can use any one of the pre-existing - and very recent - YTMND threads that there are on here. Like (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=106911) hya or (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=109536) hya.
Starting a new thread just for this seems like a bad case of attention whoring. Especially when the thread starter has already posted in
both of those previous threads.

I disagree. Those two threads discussed other things than YMNTD as well. And someone who participated in the discussion might think "oh, someone has something new to add to the debate" only to discover that it was resurected from some stupid crap. A new thread called "Best. YMNTD. Ever." - on the other hand - should translate into "Some stupid shit" in the eyes of any internet-savy TTLGer, and therefore minimalize aggravation all around.

I fail to find the funny.

If any of those yrmnds are the best, what must the worst be like?
Turtle on 30/10/2006 at 18:08
henke is wrong.
If someone posts a 'lol look at this game review on Old Man Murray' thread, he doesn't have to start a new thread pointing out another 'lol game review on OMM' just because it's a different game.
Let's try to keep all the vaguely related retardery in the same thread.

Like I said I started a new thread because it would of reached more people, and I thought the ytmnd was so awesome I had to do it!
