(only funny for those who know the NO CLASS fad)
Fixed.
Or maybe I'm just a humorless bastard for not finding the funny.

Sorry these things get updated pretty fast. It was just 1 ytmnd but then I added more without thinking.

But you're suffering from an information disadvantage that could potentially deprive you of some good fun, I'm just trying to help.

The worst part about this this terrible, terrible thread is that the page in question isn't playing a sine wave
Mr Fourier is insulted
<img src="http://img110.imageshack.us/img110/2659/untitledcu3.png">
Now a proper 3500 hz sine wave should look and sound like this:
<a href="www.sunshine-acid.net/mp3/3500.mp3">SOUND</a>
<img src="http://img119.imageshack.us/img119/8041/untitled2xo7.png">
Notice the single frequency band. The lower part spreads out because the Hamming window isn't perfect but we ignore this since noise is inherent within all systems. One of the reasons that 3500 Hz is so fucking annoying is that it's generally in the frequency band that things like babies scream at and lions roar. SURVIVAL. See Fletcher and Munson's classic equal loudness countours as well, there is much to be understood
