(
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eGPhUr-T6UM) MARRS - Pump Up The Volume should probably be mentioned. It's too bad they actually had to go and release
two songs altogether, or they could be the dictionary definition.

Dexy's, Men At Work and 10CC as one-hit wonders?
'the fuck?
How odd, apparently Dexy's Midnight Runners had another number 1 in the UK but I've literally never heard a peep out of them other than you-know-what

Men at work had alot of hit songs and are definately not a one hit wonder band. Fastball had a second hit song "Fire Escape" so aren`t either.
To add some of my own:
Alphaville - Forever Young
Boney M - Daddy Cool
Dionne Farris - I know
Dirty Vegas - Days Go By
Echo and the Bunnymen - Lips Like Sugar
Fun Loving Criminals - Scooby Snacks
Greg Johnson - Save yourself
Heart - Barracuda
Lemonheads - Mrs Robinson (yes its a cover I know but its the best version of the song)
Sinead O'Connor - Nothing Compares to You
Snow - Informer
The Go Gos - Our Lips Are Sealed
The Cult - She Sells Sanctuary
Trick Daddy - I'm a Thug
Youth Group - Forever Young (some would say the best version, I`m not so sure on it)

In this case, yeah probably. In general however, I haven't paid much attention to pop music since my early-mid teens.
I see, fair enough.
And to be extra annoying: Chumbawamba aren't exactly a one-hit wonder either. :p

Greg Johnson - Save yourself
Heart - Barracuda
-Heart had a good number of hits.
-Greg Johnson had many hits in NZ. Off the top of my head:- Isabelle, Liberty, Chinese Rockets, Don't Wait Another Day.
My older sister got high with him once.

Sorry can't have any of these either -
Sinead O'Connor
Laurie Anderson
Dirty Vegas
Lemonheads
The Cult
It's a bit like saying Pink Floyd are a one hit wonder because Another Brick in the Wall (Part II) was their only hit.
;)

Or Boney M, given Rivers of Babylon et al.

One thing I've learned in this thread: every crappy one hit band has had an extended and storied history of success in either the UK or New Zealand.
Also: apparently the Black Keys had a hit, what?
