The 13th Floor Elevators invented psychedelic rock and even if only You're gonna miss me made it into the charts, that should count for something. Their singer (http://www.schwarzsilber.de/roky-erickson-the-aliens-i-walked-with-a-zombie/) Roky Erickson also kept on making good music, when not being treated to electro shocks in the nuthouse.
The Knack made way more great songs (Oh Tara, Maybe Tonight, Good Girls Don't) and yeah, Nena also had more but I hate how she kept repeating them forever and ever. Hate it. Hate. It.
