Don't recall them being successful in the U.S. Were they another group who were popular outside the U.S. but didn't make it here? I wasn't following pop music much during that time period, so I might have just missed them.

I was going to suggest a-ha's (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_EXxMlIExpo) Take on Me but a quick look at wikipedia revealed they were big in Europe for about two decades. :eek: That was their only hit in America, though, and that's really what counts.

Some of these may not be one-hit wonders- I've never been up on what's 'hip' in music- but since I only remember one hit of theirs that should be close enough for you bastards. Some of them had more than one single in airplay but they weren't nearly as big as the ones below.
