I'm wondering if there are more Deus Ex mods than the ones mentioned at MODDB, and what is/are the best ones? I'm not interested in things that change some stuff about the original game (like Swifter) but totally new levels.

Redsun 2020 is the best "major" one I think. There's Project 2027, Unatco Born (currently inactive), MIB and The Nameless Mod coming up, too. The Cassandra project was never completed, but the first episode is alright to play through - if a little dull (I mean, it's just a training mission).

Redsun 2020 blows. It's a big meandering incoherent unfinished mess.
Zodiac is good, and huge. Burden of 80 Proof is also good, but fairly short and not set in the DX universe.

DaveW, if you have a problem with ZylonBane that's fine by me, but I would appreciate it if you'd keep it out of my thread.

Yeah, sorry. Although to ellaborate, only the last mission is incoherent to the rest of the story - well, and the ending. The other missions follow nicely on from eachother, although the way some of them are presented to the player isn't the best. It's far from a "mess", though.

-Presidential Emergency is quite good.
-Hotel Carone is highly recommended
-If you go to planetdeusex.com they also have the results of a modding competition that Ion Storm hosted, the winners are pretty good too.
-Gelo

So I've started playing Zodiac. I'm stuck, though, in the first level (the CIA building).. Destroyed that generator thing, disabled the AA guns and I also hacked that computer with that knife next to it... But now I don't know what to do.

There's a very easy to break bit of scripting in this mission, unfortunately. Right after Jock drops you off, the game expects you to talk to him before you leave. When you talk to him he'll tell you to meet him at the old HQ entrance after you've completed all your objectives. Then he takes off. If you don't talk to Jock, he'll just sit there for the entire mission. D'oh.
Or you might be having a different issue entirely.

Another vote for Redsun, which is a great mod with some very interesting levels.

...and some levels that feature the exact same empty room clonestamped 50 times.
