Just heard this one in T-DS..
I'm creeping along then I hear "what the taff is that?!" I automatically lurch into a shadow and reach for a flash bomb, then "a rat! what do I do?! what if its deseased?! what if its poisonous?! wait...stay calm...they can smell fear"
I could barely make this out. I think it was the guy patroling the inner courtyard of the blood opal mission,who's name escapes me...

In TDS,
The pirate lookin' guard who patrols the alley behind the tavern - while standing silent for a bit under the light at one end he says:
"Chumps.........losers and chumps." as he turns and walks the other away.
Between an innocent and guard in passing:
Innocent: "Evening, officer."
Guard, in a demeaning tone: "Tss. Whatever."
I can't remember if this is from 1 or 2, but I was runnin' around the grounds of a castle or mansion and Benny was up above me on the perimiter wall BY HIMSELF and he says, "Who's there?" Quickly followed by, "Who said that?!"
What a dufus!

I'm afraid it's the AI responding to someone who is alert. Afterall, the drunk guards use part regular guard texts and part their own little files. You must have alerted someone to yell thief or so...
Now that guard in the alley behind tavern, I've heard him say some three times something along the lines:
"...What, did they expect a dainty ballerina who sneaks in and out, leaving no one the wiser next morn. I've got muscle, and that's what I'm gonna use... Should'd known that when he hired me..."

In End of the Bloodline of TDS, Lord Ember strolled out of his room while I was sneaking around outside. When he passed the guard in the hallway, they had a nice little dialogue:
Ember: “Straighten up there, you disgusting hunchback!”
Guard: (loudly) “YES, Sir!” – (quietly, a moment later) “Idiot.” :D
My head almost crashed down on the keyboard because I had not expected anything like that to happen and I just couldn’t stop laughing. I’m still chuckling whenever I come back to that part of the level, there are always slightly different conversations between Ember and his guard.

I liked the sarcastic reply from the City Watch, "Builder, watch over me too," when he passed this Hammerite near the Cathedral (or whatever), in Stone market Proper. Of course, I did bop the guard for vengeance on the behalf of the Hammerite. :p
