That conversation from LOTP was the only one that I ever took the trouble to transcribe, word for word, so I could read it later. You're right, it was really hysterical!

IIRC if you copied the sound.crf from the thief 2 Demo into the Thief 1 game and started Baffords mansion level you got to hear some strangely weird dialog.
something like...
' sigh ' I miss having pizzas in the staff meetings...
what??? Those deathtraps had enough grease to kill a Burrick!!!.
oh you soft belly!!.....
and 'I shot the sheriff... but I didnt shoot the debputy' :confused:

I've played the game 7 times, so they don't catch me very much anymore...and when I first started playing it, I'll grant you they might have said it, and I was too freaked out with terror to pay attention :D

My favourite quotes in T2 are:

I also like Hammers' and Mechanists' prayers like "Vigilance is our shield..."
