ps. She LOOKED like a Maggie, what with the dark hair and everything.
I'd think Anna's entire body being covered with augs would make more of an impression than her hairstyle, but maybe that's just me.

They're voiced by the same person, too (though with different levels of success).
My favourite moment has to be fighting Maggie at the UC. :thumb:
Of course, letting the transgenics & grays run wild in MJ12 lab is always fun. In fact, the whole of Hong Kong represents a high point in gaming.

I have never - not once - fought Maggie at the UC. On the few occasions I let her out of the penthouse alive, she was pulverised by a rain of bullets from above.
Fave moment, albeit a couple of hours' worth first time round, was getting lost in Hong Kong.

I believe if you fall off the ladder and kill yourself at the UC, Maggie laughs at you. Even if she's already dead..
The memory that sticks with me most is a trifle cliched, but still: gunning down Anna in Lebedev's jet. I just wanted to hear the end of the conversation and she kept butting in so I thought "oh, screw it" and fired at her, fulling expecting the usual 'important characters are invincible and will kill you'. Then she fell over and exploded.
"Oh noes! Teh game are brokens!"
It took me quite a while to figure out that this was, in fact, a legitimate outcome, and that I could carry on. You'd've thought the penny would drop after receiving several infolinks from Alex, but I'm a slow learner, and I really, REALLY wasn't expecting it.

How can the game NOT know your every move? :weird:
What I meant was that I was amazed by the game "freedom" I had never played something like that and it somehow afected the gameplay

I was really surprised to discover that Anna can be taken out with a single knife jab to the back of the neck.
Anyway, it is possible to save both Anna and Lebedev. You just have to lightly attack Lebedev so he retreats to the front of the plane (this takes some herding), then talk to him after he calms down. Since Anna beams in at the center of the plane and runs immediately to the back, she never makes visual contact with Lebedev. So when the game orders her to go hostile on him, she just stands there.

Without a doubt when you see Helios in area-51 and the conversation that followed. I actually felt sorry for JC because this was all so much bigger than him, I cannot remember feeling sorry for a game character before. A milestone in both gaming and storytelling.

I've always wondered if you could block her off using unbreakable crates so she never gets a chance to even reach Leb. Your way sounds funnier, though. :cheeky:

interesting.I assume you still have to kill her when escaping from the unatco hq?
