You are born. You live. You die. Any type of "heaven" or "hell" you create for yourself during your life.
Fate, God, Godesses, etc. Just ain't there. What you see is what you get.
But then, you cannot argue with "Faith". Those who profess to believe, may well do so and you can't change their minds. But it would be nice if they actually practiced what their beliefs hold as central in the treatment of those "fellow men" with whom they share this little mud ball.

I just chose not to believe the little bald kid in the matrix.
There is a spoon. Something had to have happened and If you create your own reality then I'd be rich by now under sheer power of will. There is *A* truth out there somewhere and there is only one. Whether it be that there is no god, or that there is a god or that muhammad was a true prophet or whether benedict is gods #1 man. Something is true. And either somebody on earth has that truth, or nobody does.
Science vs. Religion/Faith is kind of a silly argument, It would make sense that they are a part of each other. These so called Deific Miracles are not miracles at all. If I was god. I better damn well know the science behind changing water into wine.
Sharing what you think is the truth is almost an obligation if you truly believe, but you have to find a person willing to hear, because forcing your belief on them is wrong no matter what the truth is.

I believe God is a person. Not human, but having motivations, feelings, and a purpose for everything. I also think he cares about every last human being ever born throughout all of history and remembers everyone of them with perfect recall. He sees the individual person in the crowd and cares about them. When someone gets stabbed to death in an alley, he feels it. When someone finds a wallet and returns it with all its original contents, he's happy.
I guess that's exactly what some people mean by "shouldn't anthropomorphize", but there you have it.

I don't believe in any fairies, whether we're talking about generic beings like leprechauns, pixies, elves or goblins, or specific named fairies, like Oberon, Jehovah, Allah, the Tooth Fairy or Zeus.
I do believe that anyone who believes in one or more of these things is suffering from mental illness.

Physical determinism. That is, determinism, only based on the assumption that the result of everything that happens can only turn out in a single way that's pre-determined by its starting conditions. Non of that silly destiny stuff, just... detreminism based on the laws of the universe. I don't think this term actually exists, but someone must've made up some other name for this already. I don't know how quantum mechanics fit in with this(next year, hopefully), but it will take a lot to prove to me that it works in a random(or probabilistic) way instead of just being caused by a whole lot of other things we don't understand yet.
Other than that, I'm pretty much a passive atheist. I do tend to go berserk when people try and support their religious views with scientific stuff, though:)
