Not sure if this is a bug or not, but I've
Killed the the head of the Imperial Legion in the Arena, and taken the Lord's Mail and Paladin's Blade off his corpse and headed back to Ebonheart, but I don't know how to be appointed Dragon. I've killed the Duke to see if he had anything on him, and he had a deed for a stronghold I'm supposed to get, yet I can't get to it through the conversation tree.
I haven't completed any other Imperial Legion quests other than the Moonmoth ones (At least I don't think so), so do I have to finish all the Legion quests before I'm appointed?

Yeah, sounds like you need more at any rate; duelling him only raises you by one rank; if you're not just below him, you won't get the level you want.

Thanks for the quick reply Forsyth.
I actually am next in line for the job acording to my character sheet, but it says I need a skill at ninety, and since my closest is long blade at 69 I have some chopping and slashing to do before I get that stronghold...
Forsythe on 17/7/2002 at 04:01
Anytime ;) And yeah, that might do it. Btw, what stronghold are you referring to? Unless you mean you'll be taking over all of Ebonheart, only Houses build you a stronghold...

When I got frustrated and killed the Duke, he had a scroll on him that said I had permission to build myself a manor or something. I know that's kinda vague, but I've only seen it once. When I finally get it I'll reply here and tell you what it was.
[update] Well, I hit the 90 skill level requirement, but still no dice. Can anyone help me out?

The deed comes into play when you reach the higher ranks of the Great Houses - not the Legion. You will need the construction contract in order to begin the building of a stronghold, and you will be specifically told when you need it.

Hmm... so you're a Knight of the Garland (the step below Knight of the Imperial Dragon), you have the skills required, and duelling doesn't pop you up to Knight of the Imperial Dragon, Cepheus?
Cepheus on 21/7/2002 at 17:54
Nope, I duelled before I got all the requirements up though, so I might have screwed myself...
Whatever, I've started up the main quest so it's not much of a priority now. Thanks for your insights Forsythe and Broke.

Ahh, well luck ;)
Btw, on the off chance that you're on a PC, here's the console command:
PCRaiseRank "Imperial Legion"

Hehe, not desperate enough to cheat just yet Forsythe but thanks.
(Although, to keep my conscience happy, I'll call this "Helping the game along" instead of cheating...:thumb: )
