It would probably be a lot of work for not much actual gain.

The current system does have (http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1556887#post1556887) that weird bug with Opera's 'Fit to width' feature, though...

Hilariously enough, the "click on-click off" functionality is Javascript too. Oh, and you might want to re-read my third post.

I couldn't agree more.
The current spoiler tags work great from my point of view, they don't display text until darkened or clicked on, otherwise they keep the spoilers away from your sight. Simple and effective.
