Oh joy, I get to watch another round of Red Seizure Helmets Versus Blue Seizure Helmets!

Pretty much agreed on everything there. Xena certainly had its market, but it wasn't any sort of big mainstream hit. The comparison to other genre shows like Smallville is pretty good too, though Smallville has lasted a lot longer.

And just when your "TTLG King of Irony" title was in jeopardy...

I had a title? Wow, thanks. I can't help it if Zylonbane decides to bring out the most ridiculous of strawmans though can I? Despite Zylonbane being, well Zylonbane, I thought this was enough out of character (and stupid enough) to deserve a... suitable reply.
MORE TITS THEN IT BES BETTA!!!

I quite liked Xena when it was on. Especially the Bruce Campbell appearances.

Probably the only time I laughed at all during Xena was in the Bruce Campbell Autolycus scenes. I was expecting alot I guess when he did the "Jack of all Trades" thing, but that kind of stank a bit.

Did you ever watch Brisco County, Jr? I keep meaning to look that up too.

I'm watching an episode now, it seems a bit meh really. Part of the sub-title is "The Wild West Fox Style"
Seemed to have a bit of sci-fi or magic theme as well with this glowy sphere thing which makes people die instantly.
I doubt I'll bother with the whole series.

Finished!
Quite satisfying all in all. The mitochondria and Hendrix plus robot montage at the end were pretty cool. Lots of unanswered questions but they didn't need answering really did they?
There were a lot of issues related to our history that seem to have just been thrown in there though. Before they reached Destroyed Earth I'd started thinking about 12 colonies and 12 Cylon models and then 12 Disciples of Christ (plus the homeless 13th). And then the worshiping one God instead of many and of course all the Greek/Roman Gods/mythology.
All dead ends it seems unless we're just supposed to extrapolate that the info has just permeated throughout history.
Satisfactory. 7/10.
PS. We're all Cylons so you know who (our Bane) is well named and should be disposed of.
Airlock him someone.
