Also I've heard ideas floated that All Along the Watchtower somehow contains navigational information on how to get to earth. Note how Hera didn't disagree when Starbuck asked "are you drawing stars?".
Yeah, I've seen the same ideas hurtling around the internet. The Music (as the fandom calls it) seems to also be a map, notice Hera's colour coding.
Boomer will surely meet a sticky end, the grim weight of inevitability is against her. At least I hope so, even Cavil didn't backstab people that badly.

I'm actually hoping that Boomer will do a Darth Vader and go against Old Wrinkly before the end. I still have a lot of empathy for her from season 1.

lol roslin and adama smoke a joint.
That was a first-war Raider. What the hell is going on? My sensors detect shocking plot twists.

So it ends tonight.
I've been catching up on the last couple of episodes, and I can't wait to see what's in store for us.
Pretty sure we'll see the "Old Girl" aka the "Bucket" aka Galactica be destroyed in some fashion as there's been quite an emphasis on that lately. Not so sure but pretty much the same concerning Laura Roslin's final fate since she can barely even walk by now.
I don't know yet what to think of the Caprica flashbacks. Obvioulsy it was the first part only so we don't have the whole picture, but I'm curious to see where this will lead.
To me it's pretty clear that Kara is somehow Daniel's daughter. Perhaps being more in touch with human feelings and whatnot he was the first Cylon skinjob to experience love. It was pretty hard to miss Anders repeating that Kara was the harbinger of death though. Which is kind of ominous.
I don't think they'll pull a Whedon on us for Hera so I'd bet on her being saved. That said, pretty much everyone else is fair game imo.
Impatient :)

Good call.
Edit (after the finale). Reaction in riddle form:
Q. You're the writer of BSG, painted into the biggest corner in recent TV history (pushing Lost aside for a second). How do you tie up every lose end in one episode and engorge your insatiable ego at the same time?
A.
Leave every other question hanging, raise about a half-dozen new ones, and start not 1 but 2 new series.
Air-tight.
Seriously, though, aside from
not tying some big stuff up and something about the way they let the good-cylons go, pretty cool finale ... just in terms of good storytelling and drama, and wrapping up the story for each major character (except for the few big exceptions, obviously).

Fuck you, Ron Moore.
FFFFUUUUCCCCK YYYOOOUUUUU!!!!!

What stuff do you feel wasn't tied up? I wasn't left with any real questions.

Loved it.
Fracking awesome televisoin and JJ Abrams and all of his yahoo's over on the set of Lost should take note thats how you end a series.
I actually saved my self from watching the final 5 episodes and watched them all in succession this afternoon as I'm a sad bastard.
The scene with Adama and Roslin watching the deer and then flying over the water almost had me near tears.
Interesting about Starbuck being an Angel aswell, but then I guess it all plays into the idea of cyclical nature of things.
And I almost applauded at the final "twist" when violence led to their salvation in the end.
Bravo!

Boring, pointless and overall frustrating. I didn't like the end too much. And what's with that "technologies is the evil!!" message sent through goddamn digital television? Pffft, fake hippies!
I'll be telling kids off my lawn if you need me.

- I thought they left what happened to Starbuck totally up in the air. I apparently didn't catch what fonz mentioned (
I just thought she ran off really quickly to not deal with goodbyes; I was also wondering if
the music-coordinates didn't just jump through space but back in time, through a wormhole or something, and the crash was actually her "future" self all along ... something like that. Well, it's still an interesting possibility if they
jumped back in time even without the Starbuck question.). But even taking what thefonz said, there's still a question what exactly happened there.
- If
the Giaus & #6 "hallucinations" are angels, I was still confused on the relationship between
the hallucinations & the real Giaus and #6. Which came first? Is it an infinite cycle like literally an infinite loop where
the angels of the last (or original) generation haunt their living counterparts of the next (or every) generation. - And they just sort of
left the Cylon mothership, so we still don't know exactly what happened to them.
- And then there was the set up for "God's plan" at the end; not really unfinished business, but raising new business for the new series in a series finale is a touch dodgy.
I still liked it, though. I liked the emotional touches, and how it tried to bring each character full circle. And, yeah, I did think the last twist with the final 5 was sort of cool.
