This past episode was pretty weak, but it was good to see Baltar back in action.
Definitely the weakest of S4.5 so far. Just a few eps left and we're wasting time on Ellen being bitchy and venemous.
Adama arming the Cult of Baltar seems crazy. I Get that he needs someone to keep the peace but if the situation is so dire that he's choosing to arm a bunch of untrained civvies led by an untrustworthy former traitor... that needed explaining better.

Well, Adama has just had a mutiny. Maybe he wants some more armed people on his side!
And, imaginary 6 told Baltar to do it, and whenever she tells him to do something it works. Maybe Adama has an imaginary cylon telling him to do things to? Maybe everyone does, but they don't want to discuss it with anyone else as they would look like a lunatic / Cylon.

Yep, I don't think they're going to wrap up everything nicely, but I certainly hope it'll at least be highly entertaining. :)
I'd hoped the same thing for Lost and I'm turning out to be wrong on both counts. At this point, I deserve to see Kate naked A LOT.

Jesus, this is all so last week.
So was Starbuck's dead piano-instructing ghost father Daniel or not? I say yes.

I think yes as well. And it ties in nicely the idea that the Human Cylon hybrids are somehow more directly connected to God/the gods/whomever (we see this Hera, and even the BaseShip Hybrids, but their brains can't process the connection properly), and now I actually think that when the music activated the Five in the nebula, it was more heralding the arrival of the resurrected Starbuck (and possibly transmitting to or through Hera), then intentionally activating them.
It could also be argued that her subconscious conjured a different appearance for him because she's Daniel, and she wouldn't have been able to handle realizing that Anders is actually her father, but that doesn't jibe with the known history with her mother. Implanted memories of her mother doesn't explain it because there was evidence of her fingers being broken when she was younger.

It would also help further explain her mother's violence towards her, if she knew (or even suspected) that the father was a Cylon.
See the album? 'Live At The Opera House'. I think a certain dying leader will know the truth of the opera house shortly.

He must be. I wonder if he's some free-floating ghost, or if Daniel is sat on the Real Earth somewhere influencing people.
Also I've heard ideas floated that All Along the Watchtower somehow contains navigational information on how to get to earth. Note how Hera didn't disagree when Starbuck asked "are you drawing stars?".
Anyway though Boomer must die. She beat the shit out of Athena, screwed Helo in front of her, kidnapped her daughter and stuffed the little girl in a box!

I feel like I'm a week behind here - what's the last episode you guys saw? I'm watching on the sci-fi site and Deadlock was the last one posted.
Chimpy Chompy on 1/3/2009 at 18:13
There's been another episode since that - "Someone to Watch Over Me".
