We were talking about giving/taking sentience... Which must have been quite a trick
Considering all they appeared to do was add a little box to their brain, it didn't seem too hard!

Well...that was a thing. I'll wait until the rest of you lot catch up before throwing out my own theories.

Maybe the first person to post after seeing a new episode could put a warning up like
Episode 10 discussion starts here!!
at the top of their post?

I liked it a lot. Yes, it may have been a tad rushed (especially Starbuck's discovery of the Viper's secret), but it was thrilling, intriguing, had great character moments.
Then again, I've loved all of season 4 so far, so YMMV. :D
In this week's episode, but more so in "The Hub", I love the music. Reminds me a lot of Shadow of the Colossus in terms of atmosphere.

I liked it, and yet now I'm a bit pissed. I didn't expect
they would find Earth that fast, and I don't think they have enough time with 10 episodes left to explore the consequences of that and still deal with the other Cylons (although
Cavil's dead surely there still are Cylons out there, right?) and the mistery of the last One.
I'm a bit puzzled by Roslin's FTL-o-rama visions.
I do like that they didn't end with their trademark midseason OMG cliffhanger and I can wait til next year without too much stress.
However I still think mid-season breaks are fucking stupid and if the rest of the show is scheduled for next year then they should call it season 5.

You obviously didn't catch the previews for next week's episode raph. Of course, the writers could've been just throwing us another curve ball, but in the previews they show
D'Anna talking to another D'Anna and she says something cryptic about her model being one of the Five. Now THAT certainly wouldn't bode well, since D'Anna was one of the major proponents for the total genocide of the humans from the beginning.
I just read the spoiler parts and I didn't see any of that in the new episodes...

I get the impression Dia's referring to the "You don't know you're one of the Final Five..." trick De'anna plays on the Prez. Heavily spoilered in the previews, just leaving out her giggles afterwards to show that she was fucking with Roslin. No idea why Dia thinks that was to another De'anna, because that wasn't suggested by the cheap-trick preview in any way.

Ah yes, makes sense.

I'm willing to bet money that it's not actually Earth. It's an offshoot colony from Earth that's in a system close enough for the constellations to match. They've used Orion in the background of a couple of episodes, hinting at the constellation match, and they framed the jump in and sunrise shot so that the audience wouldn't be able to see any of the landmasses. And Roslyn's still alive, and the prophecies are pretty specific about her not living to see Earth.

Interesting thought. I have to admit I don't quite know what to think...
edit: Just occurred to me that, maybe, the dying leader was Natalie, the 6... It's only thanks to her that the Cylons approached the RTF and allowed them to get to the Resurrection Hub.

moon either.
