We can't help it if the new seasons is crap.
Currently I've been watching Rescue Me and some other stuff. I've actually started watching lost which part of me isn't proud to admit.
I'll agree the first episodes were a bit weak but it's been picking up steam lately and things have improved much. (imho and all that)
re: Lost, I stopped watching it at the end of the second season. They were still throwing new things without resolving shit, it seems now in the fourth they actually start answering some of that stuff but... meh, too late.

I loved that episode where Starbuck had a mental breakdown and then slept with someone.

Too bad this season's not stirring much discussion, apart from you and me... :( Where is everyone?
Ok, I'll chip in. Season 4 got off to a slow start but it's picking up some pace finally.
I wonder if we're going to get a Lee-Zarek rebellion against Laura. And is she in turn going to buy into Baltar's One God stuff?
Was worried about the four Secret Cylons - did Ron Moore just pull that out of his ass? - but their development is interesting enough so far.

The hell with reading anything in this thread.

raph; seconded. Everybody else; :p .
I'll admit I was a tad disappointed with the first few episodes, but things are starting to get interesting again.
Kind of wondering where they're going with the no restrictor mechanisms on the toaster models' part of the plot. Yet another rebellion in the works wherein all comes full circle?
I don't trust them; they have a shifty eye.

The first episode of the season was a bit of an "Is this going anywhere?" and could have been shortened considerably. Since then, though, I'm finding this the most interesting, compelling season of them all. They very much seem to know where they're going with this, and I'm looking forward to the ride.

1 week later and I've finished season 3. Still not reading the thread!

Holy crap!
You remind me of me last year when I watched four seasons of Babylon 5 in two weeks...

I utterly disagree! Episode 3 especially was one of the best of BSG. With the scheming and backstabbing of the cylon civil war and Cally finding out about the four hidden cylons (and what happened to her). Compared to that, the last 2 episodes (yes, I've caught up =)) have been pretty tedious and slow.

I can't believe even after the Hybrid told Kara that she was the Harbinger of Doom that Kara chose to ignore that and carry on as though she hadn't heard that prophecy. And I'm still wondering who the Hybrid is referring to when she tells Kara that she'll bring death to 'them all'.
Yeah, that's pretty ambiguous. The fate of each race could now rest on if she's cylon or not. I think it's definitely either her or Balthar. I don't quite get the speculation that it's a less major character, what would be the point of all the build up concerning prophecies and destinies in that case? Yes it might be SURPRISING WUU but it would invalidate a lot of foreshadowing for the sake of being unpredictable.
I think it's hilarious how Dee's only purpose in BSG has been to be a romantic interest. I don't think she's had more than half a minute screentime since breaking up with Lee.
Also, it's fairly confirmed there are Cylons on earth, right? I kind of hope that there are both cylons and humans there living in harmony somehow. I can't help think of Oben's repeating destiny theory and how that might tie in to the voyage to find earth again.
