The but where he was locked up and was explaining that he came from a rough area (see planet) growing up and showed how he changed his accent to appear more acceptable to his peers etc. That was a good scene with decent character development.
When I saw that part I got the feeling that he was once again just being Baltar and making up stories to get himself out of a jam or to gain someone's sympathy/empathy. Nope; didn't believe a word of it.

The confrontation with Tyrol was extremely good. Am I the only one who actually believes him? I think that's probably the most sincere moment he ever had in the entire show...

I think this season has actually seen Baltar at his most honest. It's only coming out in his one-on-one encounters, but it's definitely there. His big public sermons/meetings he's too caught up in trying to be what he thinks a religious leader is supposed to be, but there's just a lot of sliminess that we associate with cult leaders, so he comes off slimy, but with moments of genuine religious indignation, like after the attack by the Sons of Ares. But when he prays over the sick kid, or surrenders himself to the assassination attempt in the bathroom, and his apology to Tyrol, he's being completely open and honest and more human than he's ever been before. He's finally seemed to stop painting himself as a victim, he may not be able to come out and tell anyone what his role was in the initial Cylon attack, but he's not telling himself that everything he was a party to wasn't his fault because he was tricked, or he had a gun to his head, or any of his other excuses.

I managed to miss the most recent episode. (I completely forgot about the damned thing until Monday, which is a bad sign in itself.) Can anyone hook me up, or point me in the right direction?

NinjaVideo.net (
http://www.ninjavideo.net/cat/68) also has it and apparently supports resumable downloads. I've never tried it myself though.
In the REAL world we just stream our video

I didn't even know ninjavideo even existed. Nice to see that someone stepped into the DivX web codec based high quality dubiously legal streaming video niche that Stage6 left. Too bad that hosting cam-rips of full length movies that are still in theatres is probably going to get them shut down in six months or so.

It's going to take a while to digest this one...
I guess I shouldn't be surprised after Tyrol's reversal, but Laura... Things are going pretty fast on her side of the story, I get the feeling she could die just before the season gap.
Outstanding FX and character development on the Basestar front... Human-Cylon alliance is costly but the unboxing of the Threes may give them the advantage. Sam is freaking out at the thought, understandably, but is still the most human of the FF. Loved the Hybrid scenes, funny how it echoed the First Hybrid prophecy. And it knew about the Opera house... Kara freaks out too, plus we learned the Five come from Earth.
I wonder how Adama will react when they add the basestar to the RTF...

Thanks guys, I was able to pick it up this afternoon but I haven't yet watched it, so snarky commentary will have to wait another day or so.

Providing the prophecy about the leader not living to see the destination holds true... Roslyn's dead before the break[/spoiler]
