Fine, don't answer my question, guys - but if this sucks I hold YOU responsible and you will hear no end to it >:(
That said, Battlestar season 2 has given me a greater appreciation for Firefly - it is not so bad in comparison. Maybe I should watch that again.

We're not sure how to answer your question, partly because we don't the last episode you saw was; that is, no website I've found tells me when the break was.
As best I can: Season 2.5 isn't a separate entity from Season 2. There are still many plotlines to tie up - the pregnancy continues, they strike a couple of awesome blows against the Cylons, people get promoted/killed off. So, no. It's not drastically different from the first half.

They Have A Plan.
They HAD a plan. Now Ron Moore is just making shit up as he goes.

Doesn't he as much say that in the commentaries? He claims in the first few shows he had no idea how things were going to turn out. They would start out plotlines because he thought they were cool but had no idea how he was going to wrap them up.
Yeah, it definitely shows.

This is probably my biggest complaint about the Battlestar Galactica remake. That and the soap opera situations and melodrama, I still enjoy it though.

The last episode of season 2 is the one
in which Admiral Cain or whatever her name is appears
Ok, thanks for the honesty. I dunno what I'll do - part of me wants to see what happens, but seeing Buffy go deeper and deeper into depressing soap-opera land was painful for me and I don't think I could handle riding with Battlestar all the way to the abyss.
ZylonBane on 28/7/2006 at 21:43
No, that was not the last episode of Season 2. The last episode of Season 2 was the last new episode that aired several months ago. The next new episode will be the first episode of Season 3.

the arrival of the Battlestar Pegasus was the last episode of season 2.0, which is what Aerothorn meant and you fucking well know it, ZB.

I refuse to acknowledge this 2.0/2.5 inanity. There's just Season 2, with a three-month break between episodes 10 and 11. Pretty much the same thing SciFi channel has been doing with Stargate for years.

I'll be in the cold hard ground before I recognize Missoura' :grr:
