Ever wanted to play a game where you spend the majority of a match crouched down in a ditch, being eaten away by trench foot and mustard gas, your only temporary escape being to rush the other team's machine guns and respawn, and every round is always a draw? I'm always looking forward to new Battlefield games. I never play them but I enjoy staring at pretty graphics in trailers (even though that's most likely not how the game's going to look like).

They really need to get the dubstep out of their trailers, it's the most tonally grating thing I've ever heard.

Lol the trailer is such a Micheal Bayan "EXPLOSIONS BOOM SHOOT ROARH!" but I find the idea of having soldiers from every time period and corner of the world duking it out really intriguing. Could be hella fun, and I remember some Half Life mods that attempted similar mash ups (altho usually pretty poorly).

That was also my enduring impression. Maybe back when the DSTs were a thing, they bulk bought a load to save money and are just using up the excess?

Oh hmm, I think I misunderstood. I saw the chivarly in the desert as well as western-looking trains and thought it was jamming different time periods/settings together. Booo then, would've loved to take my World War 2 Thomspon and mow down some cowboys and Teutonic Knights :p
