It's tongue in cheek though right?

That's my thought

After trudging through Origins, I hadn't expected to be so excited by this teaser. Looks pretty goddamn awesome and can't wait to play it.

Oh man, am I gonna have to buy this now?
Waiting for a lot more reviews and comments is far more healthy for you (and your wallet). Besides, it'll be discounted during the summer sale next year and the game is likely to be at least as good at that point as it is now.

Also, I took a look at the PC reqs, and ULTRA ULTRA grephix needs a GTX 980. I need some benchies on this puppy because jeez, I hope that's for 4K gaming and not 1080p.

That could be for 720p.
Jim Sterling has done a quick first impressions video for the PC version. Even though he is recording it, the amount of stuttering he experiences is unacceptable for the kind of rig he uses.

Edit:
Just checked the Steam reviews: 616 positive, 1235 negative.
A general trend seems to be the poor performance, with
some of the positive reviews claiming to have no problems (though some of them acknowledge issues with stuttering).

Yeah, the PC release seems be to be a bat-clusterfuck. It's also capped at 30 FPS like some other UE3 games for whatever reason and requires an .ini edit to be unlocked. Not exactly an award-winning PC launch.

Sure, because Polygon is just SUCH a bastion of reliable video game reviews and opinion.
Always wait to buy games. It wasn't that long ago that Dragon Age 2 got some 10/10 review scores. PC Gamer even said it set a new bar for RPGs.
The truth comes out when the hype fades.
