Gotta admit I was kind of expecting something a little darker/supernatural when I first heard hints of this. Something out of Batman #666, maybe. (God, wouldn't Professor Pyg be an interesting addition?)
Maybe they're just keeping that a secret.

Can we stop with the Silver Age bashing? It's boring, you're boring, and it shows how little you really understand the era.
Yes, it could get very silly. Yes, that silliness came about almost entirely because of institutionalized censorship. But it's far more influential on the medium and on pop culture than you realize, coinciding with the rise of pop art and helping foster the underground comix scene, as well as being the origin of many important superheroes and concepts -- the most famous versions of Flash and Green Lantern, several of Marvel's more popular characters and teams like the X-Men and Spiderman, the concept of teen superheroes, et cetera.
tl;dr Bash the silliness all you want but don't discount the influence or importance of that era.

That's nice.
A Batman game inspired by that era would still be helluva lame. Thank God the mega success of Nolan films keeps the grimdark Batman on top and the camp Batman trapped in the closet where he belongs. OH YES, love seeing Batman team up with Blue Beetle to fight aliens or Dr. Fate to fight wizards and Klarion!!!111 Ugh.
CW are handling their Arrow-verse very well so far. No aliens, nor magic. Any "superpowers" are acquired through "science", eg Deathstroke and Arsenal acquired their strength and resilience through a super soldier serum; Barry Allen is self-explanatory.

You know what's lame? You using "helluva."
I almost considered calling you an idiot at the end of my post and telling you you have no idea what the fuck you're talking about, but decided not to for politeness' sake.
I am changing my mind. You're an idiot and you have no idea what the fuck you're talking about.
Mr.Duck on 5/3/2014 at 08:28
More talk about the game, pls.
You two get a room. Invite me over.
Shut up.

The point is, I don't give two fucking shits about your history lesson, especially if it concerns DC output. Marvel and the likes of Stan Lee, Kirby and Ditko were the movers and shakers of that era, they were the ones who paved the way for the more mature storytelling of Bronze and Modern Ages.
Arkhamverse Batman is directly influenced by the 1990s SCREEN incarnations of the character anyway. They pretty much are B:TAS fiction written Paul Dini, trading in Bruce Timm's visual aesthetics for Gears of War's in order to appeal more to Xbox dudebros.

OH THE GLOVES ARE OFF NOW EH
Jesus you two.
Anyway, yay for more Rocksteady Batman games! \o/ If that trailer is any indication I'm guessing we might see environmental combat takedowns in the next one, which would be a neat thing! Kinda sad that the villains seem to be mostly folks we've already fought tho. Would love it if they pulled some of the more obscure ones out.

I did mention X-Men and Spiderman did I not? And yeah, you're right, Lee, Kirby (who later moved to DC) and Ditko (whose characters eventually would be bought by DC) all had a major influence on the Bronze Age and comics of the 70s with the steady degradation of CCA authority. THEY STILL CAME UP DURING THE SILVER AGE.
Idiot. We're done here, you're fucking incorrect and blinkered as usual, nothing more needs to be said. You can be wrong if you want, just do it quietly. Nobody really gives a shit about your opinion of the Silver Age, because your entire perception of it is fueled by superdickery.com.
