Could you admin types please set polls to admin/mod only? Nearly all the polls (actually, I can only think of one valid poll) currently exist entirely as a vehicle for the poll, not any serious discussion and are essentially spam. I can see little point in switching to a lower bandwidth-using forum software if it's just going to be abused like this. I'm sure you've noticed this as well..

I'd rather not have to boycot commchat on the grounds of seething inanity.

Either you disable them, or you have a good yell at people to make them stop abusing polls them like they are.

I had hoped they would die out, too... Pity that for every person who gets tired of inane polls there's a brainless n00b who thinks they're the coolest thing since sliced bread.
