Hrr how to start...well you know how the thing works normally. You trap a soul in it, then have to use that soul to free it up so you can trap another in it.
However my Azuras Star acts differently. Some souls it traps alright and then the whole thing works as intended. However in quite a lot of cases when i trap a soul it doesnt store it but CREATES a Black Soul Gem with the according soul in it while staying empty itself. I currently have 71 Black Soul gems and theres no way in hell i collected all these. Since im using an enchanted weapon with "auto-soultrap" the damn things stack up like hell, cant even consume em as fast as theyre generated, kinda funny. Anyone having that too?

Yeah, i made a cheat and infused it into the game thru mindpowers
I first suspected the "No obsolete" Mod causing the script of the star going ape because it couldnt cope with Level 69 souls or something (hell what do i know) but it even does this with Petty or Common souls sometimes. And no, i aint exploiting this and now whine because im rich and can buy anything (could anyway ^_^ ), its just annoying to have to scroll 3 minutes to get to your misc stuff. And each of em weighing 0.5 is abit inconvienient too :p

Make a quick mod that transports you out to the Niben Bay, then do what people tend to do anyway: Dump all your trash in the water.
I used to do that in Morrowind rather than sell items or toss 'em somewhere else.

The enchanted chest in the Arch-Mage's tower acts as my trash can. Normally you can put alchemical ingredients into it and it will replicate them. Putting anything else into it destroys the items a day later. Therefore it acts as a nice recycling bin :D
...'course, should you put something into it on accident it ain't comin back, so be careful!!
