Hi,
I was wondering where Azura's Star comes into the game... I know where to find it etc, however I only found this by accidently seeing t in the spoilers section.
Now I don't want to cheat, but I do fancy this item at some point. I was wondering if anyone could tell me whether you directed towards the shrine via another quest through one of the guilds etc., or whether you can only get it by going directly there?
I am ona Telvanni quest where I am going to be in the locale so I was wondering if I should pop in or whether I should leave it until my character would honestly happen upon it?
Many thanks...

As far as I know, you just find the shrine and go in. It's quite spectacular, so you'd be tempted to investigate, anyway (it looks somewhat like the Angel of the North from the outside, actually). I don't think anyone gives you a quest to go there for any reason. Not that I either remember or have come across, anyway.

Thanks Ania,
I guess I shall just swallow my pride and take a wee look while I'm in the area!!

The shrine appears on the map that comes with the game.

Yeah, I seen it on the map... However I had been playing only going to areas you were sent by missions via guilds/houses. I wondered if there would ever be a legitimate excuse for my chatracter to go there using this method.
I had picked up the knowledge of what was there accidently on a forum but didn't particularly wish to exploit it... unfortunately, if I would not overwise go there I might have to anyway... As a mage type I wouldn't mind getting my hands on Azura's Star...

What is so special about Azura's star? It acts just like a regular soul gem. Is it re-usable or something?
Striker on 10/2/2003 at 22:38
It's re-useable AND has a higher soul capacity than Grand soul gems.
