hello have been having trouble getting my avatar to load, what is the size limit for a avatar? And does it appear on my posts right after i load it..thankyou for the help. :)

Avatars are disabled at the TTLG forums. I believe you can associate a picture with your profile, but people will only see it if they specifically go to your profile page.

Did you use to have them enabled? BTW, the main page appears to be faulty at the moment...
