You can keep my name on the list, I don't mind. Just want to caution everyone that I am not the most rapid of responders to any situation or project, and I might need some extra time. My biggest issue is just finding time to sit down and do it, and also that time has to be when nothing else is going on in the house so there's no background noise. I am always inundated with noise in my household, and don't have a separate room to record in, as there is a TV going in my house within earshot of my computer desk/area pretty much most of the day, and a full house of people.
With that being said, I should be able to isolate a 5 minute window easily enough, no problem, so I'm willing to try.
Also, I hate my voice, hate hearing it, don't like the sound of it. But, I can change it drastically from deep to high,to nasally, to "grander" easily enough. Not going to win any awards by any means, but I used to make up voices for my kids when I would read to them, or when just cutting up, and they were always thrilled with the range I could give. I'm a terrible impersonator, but I can make up a lot of whacky or goofy stuff quite readily. :-) I can even do fairly creepy / scary voices if needed. I can even do a pretty convincing crazed, cackling old crone fairly convincingly..
I did the hermit's voice in Schwaa's "Relic - Left for Dead" while I had a terrible sore throat, but it was perfect for the character, he said. :-) I thought it was pretty terrible, but he loved it, so he kept it in.
Prefer small parts. So, definitely no BIG parts, and nothing too "critical", and I'm in. I can do lots of different things of an overly-bombastic nature, but anything serious would suffer, if that makes sense. I think it's called "overacting" but I'm not a professional, so I don't know the right terminology for these things.
I only have a gaming headset to record audio with, but it's a SteelSeries Arctis 7 so it's decent quality. I've just never actually tried it in the year+ that I've owned it.:p
Oh, and you can't hurt my feelings, so I don't want anyone to feel 'obligated' to use anything I send them. It won't hurt my feelings at all if it's not what you want. I can handle criticism with ease. I might give you a sadface :-( but that's about it.
..and after about the twelfth editing of this post, I now realize I probably need to record a selection of voices I can do and put them up somewhere. Probably only take me about a year to put together.

Hi everyone,
Over the past months some mutations have been made in the (
https://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=120936&p=1726266&viewfull=1#post1726266) voice acting list on page 1. Here is a list of changes.
New voice actorsHit Deity, malasdair, Ramone, RickMcKnight and Supremcee joined the team of (male) voice actors. Clicking the link behind their names leads you to the post with info they created in this thread. It let's you familiarize with their experience, type of voice, availability, among other things :)
Removed voice actorsGore_Torn and Elentari have been crossed out as voice actor. It's unsure wether they actually retired, but I haven't been able to reach them to check. Unless the come forward on short notice to tell they're still available, they will ultimately be removed from the list completely.
I removed MsLedd's mention due to her (
https://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=149193) sad passing a few years ago.
Updated descriptionsSome of the texts under 'For those looking for voice actors' and 'For (potential) voice actors' are rewritten.

I should like to throw my cap into the ring!
Sex: Yes, please.
Type of Voice: British/Irish, deep and fruity (can lighten to suit taste).
Languages: English/foul and abusive.
Experience: I once had to impersonate a Vicar at a Charity Mud Wrestling event, I have, however, no FM experience.
Availability: I'm yours anytime, be gentle. GMT, however, and I use celsius, spell colour with a U, and pronounce "research" they way it supposed to be pronounced.:)
My show reel is a little rough 'bout the edges, a bit like it's creator really.
If you like what you hear you can contact me via PM on these very fora.

Edit: I'm not impersonating any original OM voices in this, Hammer voices are alternatives.

Hello everyone. I'm posting this following a suggestion on (
https://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=149989&p=2474979&viewfull=1#post2474979) another thread. I'm looking for volunteers to create complete voicesets for custom apebeasts (both male and female) for an upcoming project (I'll be using apebeast voices for goblins and orcs). I need at least 4 custom voicesets, so there's room for everyone. Please be as creative as possible, I'm hoping to add some variety and differentiate each apebeast/goblin in my mission. If the idea of creating crazy apebeast/goblin voices strikes your fancy, please don't hesitate to either post here or get in touch via PM! Thanks in advance!

It crosses my mind that the (
https://thiefmissions.com/tools/dedx01.zip) DEDX01 package contains a nonverbal voice set called Bluemonkey, which you could use for a child ape just in case you don't find any voice actors. The Ogre sound packages might be suitable for nonverbal apes, too. :)

Thanks for this, I had forgotten about these!

Hello all – I wanted to offer my voice for mission authors. I’ve been thinking of doing it for a while, and now will finally make a post.
1: Type of voice: Male, American accent. Down for guards, Hammerites, thieves, and Garrett (or equivalent player-character), but open to others. I’d even be willing to try creatures, like a burrick, if necessary (not that I’ve practiced burrick noises before….).
2: Experience: none with FMs, and no official voice acting experience, but I have hosted podcasts in freelance work before and have done some Thief LPs. I’ve included links to Thief-voice samples below (that I recorded for this, haven’t used them elsewhere).
3: Status/contact: I have email notifications set for my PMs, so via PM is fine. However, if for whatever my PM inbox is full, or you’d rather use email, then you can reach me at: trevorhwhalen[at]gmail[dot]com
I usually respond to messages within 24 hours. Currently I can offer quick turnaround as well, depending on the project.
4: Setup: I use a Blue Yeti USB microphone. For recording and editing, I typically use Audacity.
Other info: I am a longtime Thief fan (since 2000) and longtime FM player and lurker here (since about the same time) though I didn’t create a profile for several years. In recent years I have occasionally been active here, sharing some of my writings. I love Thief, it is my favorite entertainment and narrative experience out of anything, and I would love to help with your FM’s voices anyway I can.
Here are my samples to relay an impression of my voice, and whether you’d think it be anything that could help your FM:
-Me reciting the briefing for Lord Bafford’s Manor: (

-Me reciting a few Hammerite lines: (

-Me reciting a few guard lines: (

Thanks for reading and any consideration!
