Didn't you bust getting through any of the doors in the Keeper area?
Nope. Entrance to Keeper Area requires shooting 1 fire arrow on statue while standing on metal pedestal. It's easy to get on it with just new mantle. Weight pedestals are also easy with wight of rubbles from statue and Garrett's body. Door that you need to picklock is also easy mantle over wall. Next door is open and has a key for last door. So, no busts.
As for other missions. For now I think Mage Towers will give me a lot of busts, because in some towers you need to picklock chests with elemental keys. As for RTTC I think I'm gonna loot it, then take Eye, dodge Murus and just end the mission. I doubt I could perform ritual without every item in my inventory.

Yes it was the locked doors I was thinking of. I never knew you could just climb over them.
Up to you of course, but I think I'd enjoy the process of strategising how to complete the RttC mission with the fewest busts.
Let's see, you'd have to lockpick the metal door to the observatory, and the chest with the beads. I think the chest needs one triangle only, and the door a triangle and a square. If you are willing to go back and forth that's only two busts.
The ritual is beads, candle, book then symbol. You can drop only the symbol and beads. So make sure the cemetary is unlocked, then get the beads last. Present them to Murus then go straight to the ritual. You'd then only need to bust on the candle and book. Well, assuming you can't place the candle on the grabe ahead of time.
Of course there will be the four bustds with the talismans at the start.
Well anyway as you can see, I like the planning and strategising side of things :)

Thats what I often do - I don't even open the front doors of the cathedral. I mantle to an alcove, jump to the fence, then mantle to the high fence around the well and jump down onto the tree outside Jennels. I loot the entire mission (I take the ghost bust getting the zombie near the kitchen out his alcove)
Once I get ALL the loot I start collecting boxes outside the cathedral door, and put some boxes on the walkway roof - ONLY THEN do I grab the eye using the method Klatremus uses for no alerts. climb the boxes onto the roof than up onto the roof and run on the roof to the front of the cathedral along the fence. I end the mission still holding all the talismans.

Wonder what happened to this challenge? Perhaps Galaer got lost in the Lost City.

I didn't forget about that. I just participated in VLDC 12 (SMW contest) and right now I'm playing all entries. This may take 1-2 months.

No worries. I did enjoy reading your reports so was just curious.

MISSION 8 - THE MAGE TOWERS
WATER TOWER + EARTH TOWER
Time to return to this challenge. First I'm going to Water Tower to get Earth Tower key. Also I confirm that it's possible to drop this key. I have no idea why I thought it's impossible. I ran to Earth Tower. Floating platforms weren't annoying this time. I also alerted every earth mage in this tower. But running through them was easy. Easily got Air Tower key. I also left few rope arrows on ceiling, but I don't think I will need them in this mission. Also central tower is locked and I don't have a key. So I am forced to go all way to the bottom and of course I alerted mages again. But they aren't big problem.
AIR TOWER
Air Tower is even easier, but still I alerted few mages. In the end is floating chest. All this time I was running to it to open it. This time I had a thought: "Why don't I just mantle on chest?". The answer is - because of ceiling. I pretty much got crushed between chest and invisible ceiling. Also I can't unlock chest fast enough with both lockpicks and I can't use telescope with lockpick equipped. So I just used 1st lockpick, then immediately ran to telescopes and just then used 2nd lockpick. By the way, that's bust #1-2.
FIRE TOWER
Fire Tower was the most exciting place. In 1st area (with lava) I had only 1 mage. I decided to check if I can open Central Tower with white key, so I dropped it and it alerted mage. He tried to shoot me. Waited for him to calm down while far away. When he went into lava, I just did quick and loud platforming and went up. Then until last room I didn't alert any mage even though I was moving fast. I checked the key and it didn't work.
I just ran through last room and alerted both mages. I decided to do the same try like in Air Tower and mantle on chest. Well, I managed to jump on the edge of pedestal instead. Good enough and I don't need to worry about hot tile. I used 3 lockpicks to unlock chest (bust #3-5) and got Treasury key for top door in Central Tower.
Time to go all the way down. But new problem appeared. 2 alerted mages went on stairs leading to chest area. After few tries I just jumped over them and ran away. This was very noisy exit where I needed to avoid fireballs. That was funny.
BASEMENT
To enter Mage Compound I used secret passage in Water Tower Area. It led to Basement. I went all the way up to Central Tower and left Treasury key there. Then I left to pickpocket 2 guards in Basement for a key and checked it. It didn't open Central Tower and it didn't open 2 locked wooden doors in Basement. I tried to use bronze crates to smash wooden doors. Maybe there is a key there, but these crates were a bit too weak. So I decided to mantle out of secret passage and search for yellow key that I got from one of mages. It took me a lot of time, but I pickpocketed new yellow key, but again it didn't open Central Tower. I guess I will wait with Central Tower for later and for now complete objectives from Mage Compound.
MAGE COMPOUND
First 2 floors were easy. I found out that yellow key is for Library and white key for stairs leading outside. I read scroll where is located Earth Talisman and got librarian's glasses. I got purse near guard during his conversation with other guard. Time to get to 3rd floor. Here are 3 doors locked. 2 of them are wooden. In side room on the left I found junk goblet. I used it to smash wooden door near locked metal door. It was noisy, so I needed to return to Basement where I used goblet to smash other wooden doors and get loot.
I took water arrows from chest in Basement to douse 2 torches on 3rd floor. This way I could smash open other wooden door. I escaped to Basement. Also I learned that water mages have homing missiles. I looted rooms on 3rd floor quite easily. But I need to unlock metal door to Captain Regalio's room and there is no way to alert him by shooting arrow into metal door. So I needed to use 3 lockpicks to open his room (bust #6-8). I saved there.
I didn't find new key for Central Tower, so I used 3 lockpicks to open door (bust #9-11). And then I had after thought. I could combine lockpicks for both Captain Regalio's room and Central Tower and maybe lower my number of busts to 8. But I found it's too late for that. I overwrote all my saves.
CENTRAL TOWER
I took water arrow from Captain Regalio's room to douse all torches in Central Tower, then went down for Treasury key. And I made noise, so mage patrolling stairs got alerted, but it was easy to avoid him in darkness. I entered top room, went left without worrying about noise, looted it and grabbed Earth Talisman. And talking mages didn't stop their conversation. Mage patrolling stairs was somehow at the bottom, but he was easy to avoid. I found out that key from Basement opens door to Sewers and I finally finished this mission.
FINAL NOTES
After beating this mission I had one more after thought. I could combine Captain's room with Central Tower and Fire Tower's chest. I would start from Captain's and Central Tower's locks and then moved with 1st selected lockpick down to the basement, then outisde and climb to the top of Fire Tower. After using 1st lockpick, select 2nd lockpick and use it there and return to Mage Compound for 2 doors. Afterwards use 3rd lockpick to open Captain's room and Central Tower and go all the way to fire chest to open it, which will give you Treasury key. This should reduce number of busts by half up to 5-6 busts. Tedious, but possible. But again I overwrote my saves after finishing this mission, so there is no going back.

MISSION 9 - THE LOST CITY
START
First I tried to get over wall in city to grab loot. Unfortunately roof is too slippery. Also I'm forced to select Stone key to open passage to Lost City (bust #1). In waterfall area I needed to run from spiders. I was surprised that green spider didn't went after me. Since spiders were after me I was forced to jump over fire geysers. When arriving at Library's roof, I noticed that spiders were stuck on stone slope, but when I dropped into Library, they got unstuck.
LIBRARY
I decided to loot lowest level of Library. I waited for burrick near passage and then quickly ran into long corridor with loot at the end. 4 burricks went into search mode. They blocked corridor. I hid in corner and was reloading whenever burricks decided to visit room. Eventually one burrick decided to return to his patrol route and visited the room. To avoid alerting the rest I mantled on ancient bed. I positioned myself on one end of bed and when burrick shot gas I went to the other end. After few shots I avoided burrick and jumped over another. Quickly ran outside.
RUINS
I had luck. All burricks were exterminated by fire elementals. I avoided them and jumped over lava to house with quiver. I decided to check if I can really kill fire elementals with broadhead arrows. To my surprise it worked, but for alerted fire elementals I needed 5-6 arrows. I killed other 2 patrolling this place, then went to blue gem area and killed another fire elemental. With 2nd elemental from this area I had much bigger problem. I shot few arrows in the ground, so that I can take them after reloading. I needed to go back in further dark corner. After few shots fire elemental ran away. When it returned I killed him. Afterwards I looted this place and realized my big mistake. I forgot to buy scroll with Lord Gervasius' request, so old masks are just junk.
MAGES
I went to Water Temple and decided to kill all mages with broadhead arrows. Then I took rope arrow (I ended with 2) and decided to visit Temple. I took water arrow and doused 2 torches and 2 braziers. This alerted water mage, so I needed to run away from his homing missile. I looted this place, ignored lever and jumped back while grabbing rope arrows. One of them I shot into ground. I took gas arrow from the side and went to Colosseum. Gassed almost all mages. Almost, because I learned that water mage can't be gassed. He's resistant.
FIRE TOWER
Before Fire Tower is area with statue in lava. To get on roof of the house without rope arrow, I jumped over lava, then mantle on statue and did strafe run+mantle on roof of lower house. Then I went to Fire Tower without any water arrow and rope arrow. There is part with broken stairs and it's possible to beat it without rope arrow. I just dropped on right edge of stone railing, crouched and went as far as possible. Then I did strafe jump+mantle with turning towards stairs while in midair. This allowed me to beat broken stairs without rope arrow.
EXIT
I decided to do strafe jump+mantle over lava to shortcut. This allowed me to skip most of fire elementals. Then I just returned to waterfall and noticed that small spiders are just returning to green spider. I guess they were too far to return earlier. They got alerted again, so I jumped into water. In the end I killed 5 fire elementals and 4 mages, all with broadhead arrows and gassed 2 mages.

MISSION 10 - SONG OF THE CAVERNS
Not my favorite mission and it feels, because this run was quite mediocre. Not too much problem. To get to tower guard I mantle on right side of wall above gate, then mantled to building. In caves i got hit by falling stalagtite, but it didn't hurt me. All this time I thought it will kill me. Killed crayman in usual way by crouching and activating arrow traps.
Looks like singing hermit is badly textured thanks to TFix 1.27. That's actually quite scary. I missed loot in caves, so it make me worried if mission has loot, but looks like it has. I was taking hermit's key with me and later also orange key. I went to 1st floor through fireplace under Kitchen. I scared woman from Cloakroom, so needed to wait for guard to calm down. I went to 2nd floor via door on Backstage.
Luckily scared woman from Cloakroom didn't make guards appear in room with Talisman of Water. I decided to visit top floor's audience. And the only way there is through main stairs. Ghosting it was surprisingly simply. I alerted guests on 2nd floor near guard holding speed potion and hid in secret passage. Unfortunately to get to room with flute I needed to use 3 lockpicks (bust #1-3). Before leaving I also threw small rock into wooden door to get to Armory. Then I left via sewers. Not very interesting mission.

MISSION 11 - UNDERCOVER
I did few challenges in the past and usually this mission is nothing special, but this time it's even hard to enter Cathedral. I went to front entrance. On the right is lantern and slopey pillar. I mantled on top of it and before falling, I quickly moved on top of lantern. Then I climbed on the roof. I was never on the roof, so I decided to explore. This started conversation inside Cathedral and completed entrance objective. Even though I'm still outside. I decided to descend to Garden by jumping+mantling on tree.
So in this mission there is really no arrows lying around, so I decided to avoid triggering alarm. Some loot taken can be spotted by Hammerites: it's 5 vases in Cemetery, vase in front of Hammerite in Crypt, hammer on altar and another hammer in entrance room. Plus Hammerites don't like when you are anywhere nearby tombs in Cemetery or when they are close to red hammer door you open.
After some looting I decided to check how to mantle on walls. From Garden it's easy - mantle on tree, from Cemetery I can mantle on statue. I also used lever to unlock main entrance and Hammerite shout to launch alarm. And that's all. He didn't run to launch alarm, he didn't attack me either and nobody alerted to his shout. It really surprised me.
Later I noticed that white key opens locked chest with loot in one of priests room. Unfortunately 2 Hammerites blocked in passageway. Luckily pushing one made them to free each other. Old Kitchen in Basement on the other side can be opened by high priest's key. It also opens small room in Library and locked chest. So lockpicks aren't needed. I only needed to move wall builder prayer to Talisman's location. Pressed 5 switches, I needed to be careful with lever under skull of St Yora and enter Reliquary from balcony.
After grabbing Talisman I needed to grab rest of loot and First Hammer (I completely forgot I needed to get it) while avoiding alerted Hammerites. Vase from Crypt was easy. But I noticed that Hammerites occupy passages going up. I was spotted when trying to get to Cemetery. I climbed on walls, fell down, grabbed 5 vases while avoiding attacks and climbed on wall again. I climbed on roof, because on balcony was another Hammerite. On other balcony was the same story. So I went outside Cathedral and decided to go through unlocked earlier front entrance.
This was mad rush. Got hammer from entrance. Escaped along left side to Church at the back and grabbed another hammer from altar. Then ran to Reliquary for First Hammer, but entrance to it and balcony has been blocked by Hammerites. I was forced to circled around them in Reliquary, then run to balcony, jump on walls and fall on the other side.
