Yes, I was just provoking. Why do you think my post was so brief and snarky? Narcissism is even more amusing when the subject not only is completely unaware of it, but also believes they have psychic abilities.
Arguing over the cost of living in Australia is something I couldn't care less about. I've never been there, and I don't plan to go there. Ever.

Thanks, but no thanks. I'm sure there's other forum members who would be more into that kind of thing.

Well, that much is obvious, we
know that you're a troll. I said as much from the get-go.
But your self-delusional defense mechanism that you weren't
also being obtuse with your initial question is an attempt at rewriting the obvious facts.
CCCToad: You're Wrong!
RBJ: Actually, no, I'm correct because of x, y, and z
CCCToad: I didn't care anyway! I was just being an asshole!
If you're now admitting that you didn't know jack-shit about the subject matter, then I was quite correct in calling it ignorant, n'est-ce pas?
And then therefore, my "intellectual superiority" is not merely "narcissism" but actually well-deserved.

Sorry to interrupt again so soon, but I'd just like to set this in stone so he can't quietly renege later

Fine by me. I really don't have any plans to go there.

Australian goods are priced 2-3x times their American counterparts
confirm/deny?
Deny. You have to take the worth and difference of the Australian dollar (henceforth referred to as Aussie Buxx) vs. the American dollar into account. For some bullshit reason or another, the Aussie Buxx has hovered around about 50%-75% of the US dollar over the last ten years. So if you have a pair of jeans that cost $100 over there, but only cost $45 here, they're not paying twice as much, they're actually paying roughly the same amount. Pay scale and everything is, of course, adjusted accordingly. Australians make and spend about as much as we do on most things.
And yes, this is true of most of the big Western countries.
GGRRRWWWWAAARRRRRRR GODDAMNIT!
