Apparently Uwe Boll is making a movie about the horrors of the Auschwitz concentration camp.
I think he's the perfect director to take on a project like this. This will most likely be a thoughtful masterpiece that's up there with the likes of Schindler's List and The Pianist.

To be fair though he's probably the only person who will make it grim enough and exploitative enough to actually show the horror of what happened. I'm not saying he's making it for the right reasons but in the past few years I've been surprised by how many people I've met who don't actually know the true extent of what went on there. I hope he at least devotes a good portion of the film to Mengele. Despite it all this could serve as a pretty good educational piece.

So how much of his Nazi gold is paying for this?

It's a lie. The movie is really going to be based on the Strogg prison levels of Quake 2.
gunsmoke on 16/11/2010 at 16:18
No way. The Strogg-ification from Quake 4.

Isn't that Uwe Boll himself playing the SS guard in the first shot? Wouldn't wonder if he ran out of decent actors quite quickly.

I've seen neither film, but aparently Stoic and Rampage weren't at all terrible.
Maybe he won't fuck this one up.
