Not sure the point of the post, but I think he just wanted to be the first person ever to combine the song "Should auld acquaintance be forgot", which has a lyric "And days of auld lang syne" with the drug Zyme from Deus Ex. Or something...
He then wanted to make a connection between Deus Ex and Christmas...and so he tried to use Icarus' line...and realized it wasn't working.
