thechortler: Yes, you can do that. :cool: This also apply to other slots, such as those for skin -- you can wait and install both radar invisibility and cloak, even if you would encounter ballistic/EMP much earlier.

Are you sure about that? I've done the Cloak and Radar Tranparency thing myself, but I thought there was only one Synthetic Heart / Power Recirculator augmentation cannister. I was looking for a second the last time I played, because I had left one chest slot empty just to try this, but I never found a second aug cannister. Is there a second one somewhere, or would you have to cheat to spawn it?

Hmm, I think you are right, Straylight. :erg: Although I can't remember how many Synthetic Heart / Power Recirculator augmentation cannister in the game, designers should prevent you installing two synthetic hearts. :p Sorry about that, thechortler.

Shazbot. And I already threw out the auqalung/enviro canister. Oh well, it wasn't like I was going to get a whole lot of use out of either of them anyway...

Someone's going to say it eventually, so I might as well. The upgrade canister exploit also works with Jaime Reyes if you chose to have him come to HK. You must have a full inventory including one of the item you intend to duplicate which in this case is an upgrade canister. Talk to him and JC will say he's too full. One copy drops at your feet. The other gets 'ghosted' behind the upper left inventory slot. Now at this point the game will consider the slot to be empty until you access your inventory, so make sure you go into your inventory first before you talk to Jaime again, otherwise the trick will stop working.
Also possible with weapon upgrades and whoever sells them, like Smuggler for example.
Edit: BTW I'm pretty sure there's only one Power Recirculator / Synthetic Heart Aug in the entire game.
