Ahh, the greatest true wealth of the game. Does anyone know how many there are in the game, roughly? For instance, how many augs can you upgrade all the way with these?

2 different ones for Eyes, Head, Arms, Legs, IFF, Light Augmentation, 6 Different Chest Augs but You can use similar augs two times, power recirculator and synthetic Heart so 9 (I think), and one more I think
So 22 I think in Total. I could be wrong.

Thanks for the reply, but I was referring to upgrade canisters--you know, the ones that raise the level of the augs you already have, out of four levels. Does anyone know how many of these there are? By my count it's only nine or ten...

About 20 of them - not enough to upgrade everything to level 4, but enough for the important AUGs. :)

Actually, if you take advantage of some bugs in the game, you can upgrade all augmentations fully.
If you save Doc Savage's daughter, when you meet him on top of the undersea lab he will give you an upgrade cannister. However, if your inventory is full, the cannister will fall to the ground.
You can then approach him again and he will give you another cannister. You can do this as many times as you want.

Also "Synthetic Heart" aug will improve the performance of the other Augs as if they were upgraded to one level higher than they currently are. It consumes BE power however.

How does that Savage trick actually work? I always get only two: make sure my inventory is full, go back in side to drop something after the conversation, then pick the first upgrade, go back in and out again for the second, but after that I get no more canisters regardless of my inventory status or whether I go back inside again or not. Oh, mine is Goty edition btw.

Yeah,probably: that's what I thought, too. NM. In the end I always end up with too many upgrade canisters anyway- don't know what to do with all of them, ending up upgrading some not so important augs just for the hell of it.

Important Question: I want synthetic heart and Power Recirculator augs, both of them. Can I forgo one of the aqualung/enviro resistance canisters altogether, wait until I pick up a synth/recirculator one, and use it again in another torso slot?
