but it's far more difficult to burn excess calories than it is to reduce caloric intake.
Having sex burns a lot of calories.
No, really.

True, but only if you have a real orgasm. If you don't you gain calories.

you also gain calories if you swallow

Unfortunately I don't have my own transportation at the moment, so no swimming for me. I really do need to start again though, somehow I seem to have acquired a slight fear of drowning over the past few years. I'm not sure why except maybe because
someone tried to drowned me. But it's been several years since then, it shouldn't have developed such a long period after the event itself and it's probably about time I get over it anyway.
But, alas, there's still the whole transportation problem.
I actually have a tredmill in my garage, and I used to use it for an hour everyday a year or so ago, until I began having safety issues with it. It "skips its track", basically, which can trip you. Now the dog has just kind of adopted it as its bed...
As for cycling, I do 30 minutes on an exercise bike in my livingroom almost every day. I had been doing it faithfully
every day, but then there has been a day here and there that I haven't. For instance, I was away from my beloved bike over the weekend, so..
I really do enjoy using it. I started out doing 50 minutes a day, but within about a week or so it went down to 30.
I've been using it for about a month, now.
Renzatic: I don't eat three large meals a day, I rarely even eat three meals a day period. There are times when I don't even eat an actual "meal" in a day. Just random bits of food when I need it.
I don't have an oversized appetite like some people do(I'm not saying a large appetite is a bad thing, usually. It depends on the person). I can remember a few individual days where I actually almost forgot to eat anything.
I think my point is basically: food isn't the number one problem, I think it's more a lack of activity. I'm not lazy, but sometimes I just can't find anything to do.
Also, as of recently there's the whole Summer heat thing, and with no AC on it can really put a damper on motivation. I'm not saying it will for me though... I'm just saying.
Swimming would be a good fix for that, but.. no pool.. no transportation..
With the "calories per pound" thing, I would then need to take in around 1300 calories a day. I honestly don't think I take in a lot more than that on a daily basis, actually. Possibly less.
Apparently, my BMI is 20.7. Which, apparently, is good.

... how so?
Headphones: Yeah but c'mon, you'd have to do it quite a lot, it's not
that many calories. Only around 10, actually, if I remember correctly.
Dia: Hehe, yes. I believe there was a weight loss success story on Oprah not too long ago using that "method".
