Remember to fill those jugs with water, not beer or soda. Otherwise, you're back to square one. [...]
Only if he drinks the contents. :)

Yeah, but the real question is, how do you look naked?
Well, since this is the Internet: I LOOK FANTASTIC! ;)
Stitch: I actually don't eat a lot of ice cream and donuts and overly fatty foods, especially not a lot of donuts, I just couldn't do it. And too much dairy will leave me clearing my throat excessively for days, so...
And believe me, I do not scoff at the diet part of the plan, not at all. The reason I only asked for exercise tips in this thread was because too many people would have either said a) say a million threads like this have already been made, or b) tell me to stop eating things like ice cream and donuts... which doesn't really apply to me.
So, yes, diet is one of
the most important parts of this kind of process. I'm aware of that. :) And thanks.
Ghostly Apparition: Nevar! What would I be without moi name?!?
Printer's Devil: No problem there, I don't drink beer and I couldn't drink that much soda.. I also love zee water, so. :)
Thanks for the advice everybody. :)

Just go for runs, do proper sit ups (there's 3 kinds) and do proper push ups (also 3 kinds) and push yourself, don't do it half assed do it 200% assed or else you just wont get results.

Okay, I'll bite. Basically, go swimming. Do a stroke that engages as many muscles as possible - I'm on 30 lengths of front crawl twice a week at the moment and after three weeks my bowling speed has increased ridiculous amounts (best working example I could think of). On top of that, don't cut your diet down to nothing, you need food to build the muscle. As long as you don't eat ridiculous shit and give yourself normal portions, you can eat what you like and the exercise will put it to use.

Yeah, I would go with the swimming, sit-ups, push-ups, weights, and walk/cycle everywhere instead of public transport(if you can safely ofcourse and you have the time) - then there is also running.
I wasn't staying in the beautiful scottish highlands and was someplace that stopped me walking/running (such as a crappy city with way to much air pollution..aka glasgow) I suppose I would consider getting a tred-mill. I have always thought that they would be far to boring but now i think I could justify it with a couple of points.
1. skipping or jogging on the spot would bug the crap out of any neighbours below me.
2. finally an excuse to play/get good at console games.
(tredmill and Xbox 360 should not be considered as an entry into the cheapest solution competition.).
The best advice I have seen on this forum is the call for 200% effort. It always amazes my when I see over weight people exercising... horribly sceptical I know, but how can you exercise and still be unfit unless you are either not eating properly OR are only putting in 20% (and then the third option is that you have only just started). 6 weeks of 20% will get you nowhere and make you resent the wasted time and effort - four weeks of 200% and you should be happier and healthier, and four weeks is only a month.

Twice a day at least 30 minutes each time at a moderate pace. Like others ITT said eat in moderation and drink lots o water. That got me down 10 pounds in 3 months. Good luck.

Generally speaking, though, for what you want to do, diet is not one of the the most important parts, but
the most important part. Reigning in one's diet is the biggest factor in weight loss, while exercise is the biggest factor in keeping the weight off. It all comes down to using more calories than you take in, but it's far more difficult to burn excess calories than it is to reduce caloric intake.

I've been getting good results lately with a DVD called The Ballet Workout, which is a slightly modified ballet class. Not an overwhelming amount of time and effort required, but it gives you nice long lean muscles, especially the legs. And it's fun. Amazon has it for $18. Or if you're got the time, money, and transportation, you could take an adult ballet class.
