Some doctor from the uk got arrested in Brisbane Australia. Also another registrar doctor in a nearby place to Brisbane (gold coast) got arrested with connections to the incidents.

Who's complaining about NHS inefficiency now, eh?

What I would like to know is!. Their feelings when they went through the training to become Doctor's in the first place.

Terror suspects all linked to NHS
Police made two arrests at Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley
Eight people arrested in connection with failed car bombings in Glasgow and London all have links with the National Health Service, the BBC has learned.
Seven are believed to be doctors or medical students, while one formerly worked as a laboratory technician.
Australian media have identified a man arrested at Brisbane airport as Dr Mohammed Haneef, 27.
Two men have been arrested in Blackburn under terror laws but police have not confirmed a link with the car bombs.
The pair were detained on an industrial estate and are being held at a police station in Lancashire on suspicion of offences under the Terrorism Act 2000.

I was chatting to a guy at work today, and apparently he went to the doctor's surgery with his wife a few months back and was subsequently referred to Dr Mohammed Asha who has been implicated with the bombings and worked in the local hospital here.
"Sound bloke. He couldn't have been nicer or more helpful".
Not sure I believe him though, because he's often full of shit.
At least the BBC have some proper headlines this time, rather than wheeling out the venerable "Foul Play Suspected!"

Probably the same as many army medics - they think some killing is justified.

I wonder whether the police were simply arresting anyone who had close contact with the main suspects - which could of course be lots of other medical staff who may or may not have anything to do with the attacks.

Terrorism has always been and will always be. Perhaps you're too young to have personally witnessed IRA and similar bombings, but trust me, one hundred years from now, someone will still be blowing himself to bits (in the UK or even Amsterdam where I live) in a public place for some cause or other. I wouldn't worry about it if I were you, I don't. Statistically speaking, you're more likely to be struck by lightning twice, hit by a truck or be involved in some kind of deadly accident, get cancer and or die of heart disease (and all those combined - yeah, it's THAT unlikely to die by terrorist attack). What's more concerning is how Western governments such as ours have misused these events to create a climate of fear and shifted to single-issue policy, but that's another matter.
So no worries mate ([conspiracy] that's exactly what THEY want you to do, worry! They being both terrorists and government) [/conspiracy]), have a cold one! :cheeky:

Perhaps these doctors had been treating people in Iraq, could not cope with the suffering they saw, and snapped.

That of course is true. Sometimes jumping to conclusions far too quickly.

Don't make excuses for them. These guys are wackjobs, and no amount of over-rated academic qualifications should blind you to that fact.

Yeah, it's not like these guys are journalists or anything
