After downloading a recent T2 FM and attempting to play it I got a message that I was using an older version and needed to upgrade to 1.22. So I did the upgrade and started the game again. This time I was able to get the game started but I now notice I can't use any of my weapons. I have the left mouse button bound for attack but clicking it does nothing. I even tried changing the binding to another key but still with no results. All the other binds work perfectly fine. Finally, I should point out this problem occurs in the main game as well as the FM.

Sounds like your gen.osm or convict.osm files got lost in the upgrade somehow (which wouldn't have happened probably had you used Tafferpatcher instead of doing it manually). Those have not changed with NewDark so just grab them off your original CD/Steam install/whatever and copy them back into your T2 folder if they're missing.

Yandros, thanks for your response. I do have both the files you mentioned installed in the Thief 2 directory. However, this time I did the upgrade again using Tafferpatcher as you suggested. All is working fine now.
