Ok heres one...I wan't a female servant to carry a platter with some food on it around some patrons at an inn, I've got the food attached to the tray and the tray attached to her hand but I can't get her to carry it in front of her.
Under attachment in the link edit property box the m_attachmentbone only has 2 options...collision or centre..so I can't use the torch carrying properties.
The servant has the tray hanging down by her side... and if I try adding holding torch movement model class property, the tray turns upside down.
I also have a similar problem with goblet attachment, the goblet is in the actors hand but on its side.
Any ideas please.
Thankyou

Use the torch carrying property. You have to fiddle with the Rotation and Position offsets in the link properties. Can't remember the exact names, but it's toward the bottom of the properties box. Have fun! It was a real pain in Evicted! :p (Also, you might try changing the attachment to a finger rather than the hand if you can't get it to look right.)

Sorry, my working copy of Evicted won't open since I exceeded the Max Property Count limit. :p All I've got left is the ibt file. I'll try to replicate it in a single-room map for you over the weekend, though.

I also have to do something similar, a drunked pub customer that hold in a hand a bottle.... I've tried, but the bottle passes through the hand.. haha

apples are fun.. they don't look too bad, trying out the goose and rabbit next, as they hang it won't matter if they are held either way....cook with either of them in one hand and meat cleaver in the other...:laff:
