hey i just started a new character - high elf with magicka bonus of 1.5x, and chose sign of atronach with magicka bonus of 2x, meaning i started the game with 270 max magica : )
but i was wondering, if anyone else is an atronach, if it's hard to regenerate your magicka with the spell absorption and stunted magicka?

Not being able to regen magicka while sleeping can be a pain. But you can pray at the main shrine at most Tribunal temples and have your magicka be completely restored. Once I figured that out, I became a frequent visitor to Tribunal temples. :)

Also whenever you absorb a spell cast at you you get the magika from the spell added to your reserves a lot of people swear by summoning ancestor ghosts which cast loads of spells at you but personally I can never get them to attack me so I mainly resorted to buying every restore magika potion I could find:) (I guess alchamy comes in quite handy there too)

I did try that, but I guess I killed them too quickly, guess I need a worse weapon :)

Maybe try hand-to-hand? Does that work on ghosts? I don't use hand to hand, so I wouldn't know. As soon as I learned that you don't do any damage until your opponent falls down, I gave up on my khajit monk and started a redguard fighter.:ebil:

Ye my character is an atronach and when you summon the ghost just hit him a couple of times to get him mad, you don't have to hit him though, and when your magickapool is filled just run away:eek:

I have a Breton with the atronach sign but I made 2 saves on him, so on one I use the cheat to restore magicka and the other I enchanted a shield with spell absorbtion on it

Maybe I'm just weird, but all my magicka comes from exclusive restore magicka potions purchased from Nalcaryna of Whitehaven in Balmora. She restocks after every transaction. :)

Nalcaryn is a rip-off. I just steal them from the Balmora Mages Guild chest or make my own.
