I shall try to explain.
I played Arx Fatalis a floor of year back and all was normal.
The problem consists that if approach to the hidden door or the switch very close that a texture is replaced on LowRes, and should HiRes (second screenshot)
I have old save with this problem and new save without this problem. Yesterday I have begun new game and have walk in this place where there is a hidden switch in a wall and its texture was HiRes
PS I hope the translator normal and you have understood me.

I just got a new ATI card recently and seem to have the same problem.
Secret movable walls and floor and wall buttons become a black texture when up close, is there a way to fix this without using an old save?
