Hi, I just bought Morrowind and started playing it. I was having a very difficult time reading the text, as the edges seemed very blurry. Just for the heck of it, I turned on the option in my video card for Alternate Pixel Center. This made the text very clear. But it makes the pixel shaded water look different/bad. So there is a trade-off. Either ATI or Bethesda needs to please fix this problem with ATI cards. Anyone else notice the blurry text?
Why didn't the designers make the text clear, with this option disabled. The option for my card is disabled by default for all other games. It will become annoying, having to go into my options to turn it off for other games, and then turn it on for Morrowind.

I downloaded the latest Omega drivers, but they didn't help with the text.
The text isn't extremely blurry. It is readable, but just not sharp around the edges. When alternate pixel center is ON, it is sharp.

text should look like this :

I also have water and crosshair ugly and menu text sharp with alternative pixel center ON. It should be off.

I had never given this a second thought... now I see I have been putting up with blurry text all the time. Thanks for pointing this out!

Same here. I'm just too lazy to do anything about it
