At last, an UW level viewer but.... - by twisty

Through this latest development it remains a possibility that an enchanced version of UW2 may arise. Unfortunatley the link at the TTLG home page for it doesnt work - at least not when I tried it. Does anyone else have a link for it?

Does the link not take you to the Peroxide site? The viewer proper is at (
http://www.peroxide.dk/underworld/) http://www.peroxide.dk/underworld/ .

B.T.W are you intending on making a new version of UW1 or UW2?

Well, TSSHP supports Underworld/UW2 levels, up to a point, and will continue to do so. I haven't had time to do anything on it for a while, though, and things like texture-mapping on 3D object models still don't work properly. We'll see.

Congratulations Jim. That viewer is quite an achievement.

Telemachos of Peroxide wrote the viewer. I don't code for Peroxide at all, I just gave Telemachos some info on the level compression format so he could add UWII support to his existing UWI viewer. I'm working on TSSHP which is somewhat different ... it does support Underworld levels but only in software at the moment so it's slow and ugly.
