Hey, uh, I'm not sure what's up, but I've been playing the Game of the Year edition of Morrowind ont he Xbox for some time, and I have not ONCE been attacked in my sleep by an assassin, thereby triggering the Tribunal missions. I'm at level 31 for crying out loud, Iand I slept for 19 days straight in the wilderness just trying to get attacked so I may partake in the quests. Is there a bug in the Xbox version or am I missing something?

It is a healing sleep, but still, no assassins are showing up to make an attempt at slitting ym throat while I'm asleep. Do you have any idea how frusterating it is to not have people wanting to kill you?

Does your game have the island of solishiem? Someone has gotten confused about the game of the year and normal version for xbox before so don't hate me for asking.
Try starting a new character, getting it up to level 6 and seeing if you get attacked, this may sound like a lot of work but just stick acrobatics as a minor skill and jump everywhere.
Also go to ebonheart, into the councill chambers and look for a woman in a red robe and try talk to her about transport to mournhold.

sleep in a bed not rest, and every now and again you'll be awoke by a loud sound or sense presence of another nearby, or they spawn right beside you. and then talk to guard about it.

If you have joined the Morag Tong, they will no longer show up.
Does that explain something?
