It is obvious that something has to change in regard to the magic being mouseless;
The screenshots in the article reveal a some details of the new interface, which apparently features onscreen menus...
And
-if my eyes are not deceiving me- the spellbook now has a "Memorize Spell" option... hmmm, personally I kinda liked the fact that magic actually required some skill. Maybe this button is just an initiator of the
Shift-Ctrl-mode.

A completely different subject: in certain interviews with the team there was mention of pixelshadered reflections on water surfaces. I was hoping to catch a glimpse of this effect, but -as yet- the moat is dry.... :erg::o ...Can't wait to see it though :)
