I checked the video out yesterday. Looking good, though Doom 3's spiders and zombies indeed seemed out of place, but that's totally understandable at this early stages of work. Great work, keep it up!

still love the game, it's atmosphere and sims still stellar.

Wow. You guys have really come a long way... and you have really nailed some of the key parts of Arx's atmosphere.
Looks like it would work well for an UW remake as well...

We have been on the TDM forum a couple of days ago having similar discussions about sharing assets.
I am currently working on some new game code that simulates non linear level transitions in the Doom 3 engine which is something that does not exist and they have expressed a small interest in it I believe.
We, for the Arx mod would also be foolish not to ask for permission and use their humanoid models, after all they are absolutely brilliant and would fit the Arx world perfectly.
We still desperately need someone who can model some monsters and fantasy creatures for us though. The search goes on....
Anyway, I am glad some of you like the progress we are making, stay tuned, there will be more to see in the near future :)
