I can't recall a recent game that has released so many screenshots before the games release date. I've found myself just quickly glancing at them now as I don't want to spoil the suprise before owning it.

Yep, I stopped even glancing at them a long time ago!
The media really does put out way too much information if you actually read it all. My advice is always that if you know you *are* going to buy a particular game (see a movie, read a book, whatever) then you should conciously ensure that you know as little about it beforehand as possible.
