Apparently the "localization" seems great (a minimum for a french game !).
However, a 1.13 patch as just been released to correct various problems with this version, and the developpers strongly recomends to upgrade to this version before starting playing:

That is: 1) Fixing of crasches
2) New simplified controls with additional options for better/simpler interaction.
3) Few "scenario" problems solved.

For sure the english version will integrate this evolution....

Confirmed by an official source (my utlima game retailer :D and the game box over my desk) Arx is out in France... and the 1.13 patch too. I didn't sleep a lot last night... :D

YES !!!!!! I got it !!! at last !
But it was more difficult to find an internet access in the city and I couldn't post first...
anyway in 2 hours Arx wasn't store anymore in an hidden place somewhere in in the shop, but replace Morrowind in front of the main stair at FeNAC (located Les Halles, Paris)
BTW Babelfish or any automatic translator do not provide the best way to get a good french translation, and the quote in french from RPGDoT on the box seems a bit awkward !

I've just ordered Arx (Fr) for 45€ (transport included).
I should receive it in a couple of weeks.
But anyway, my motherboard is dead so I've ordered a new configuration (P4 2.4GHz based) and it should also arrive in a couple of weeks.
I'm so impatient!!!

Can't wait for Arx. The demo was good enough that I considered getting the French version, but since the English one is coming so soon I decided against it. Not worth the month of shipping time from Europe. ;)

Well...
I've read here and there in french forums that the controls/interface are not good. ("awful" is closer).
I would be interested in the opinion of peolple who already have the game, especially about the gamplay after applying the v1.13 patch which is supposed to easy life a bit ("Faciliter la vie" voulais-je dire :).
Alternatively, I'm downloading the updated the English demo (which uses v1.13) so I will be able to test myself.
Anyway, what do you think of the interface ??

Interface is quite good now... in fact after a while you don't think about interface because you are IN the game... this game is far worth its price :D

Finally! I've got it!
( Note for French guys: I bought it for 45€ at cdiscount.com )
Unfortunately (for me), I still haven't received my motherboard so I can't play it for the moment! :(
But I couldn't resist to try it on a friend's computer and it's gonna rock!
[spoiler]I was very puzzled by the fact that the stairway after the gob lord does not lead to where the the stairway used to lead in the demo.[/spoiler]
However, there were tons of graphic bugs on my friend's PC but I believe it's nothing to worry about because he administrates his PC like a pig :) : Win2K (not good for games), beta video drivers, tons of resident programs, etc...
