[Spitter]
- Intel P II 333 (the slowest CPU thus far)
- 160 mb ram
- Creative 3D Blaster Riva TNT2 Ultra
- Windows 98
- DirectX 8.0
[Crash locations]
- Once on saving, after beating the big goblin
- A few times on loading a save near the big goblin fight (the save propably got corrupted... ?)
- Sometimes when changing the level from jail to the second level
The demo works surprisingly well! The framerate isn't too good, but I can live with it, as long as there aren't many scenes which are slower than the outpost. Optimizing the code more doesn't hurt, of course ;)
There are several things I'd like to nitpick about:
- When coming to fight with the big goblin, the other guy from jail comes to help you (I forgot his name). However, there are no doors to the prison! I wonder how he got there...
- I'd really like a good conversation system, but oh well. I can live with the current one.
- The subtitle scrolling isn't implemented very well. Since the text's scroll speed is related to the speech file's overall length, the currently displayed text doesn't necessarily correspond to the spoken speech. I'd like it best if the text wouldn't scroll at all, or as little as needed.
That's pretty much it. Good job, Arkane! I'm looking forward to the finished game (but take your time, no need to rush it).

My specs:
Athlon XP 1500
512Mb DDR RAM
GeForce 3
SoundBlaster Live! Player 5.1
Windows XP Pro
Crashes:
Only once in 3 hours of play, straight! It was when loading a game for the first time. After that, no crashes, everything smooth.
Just one technical problem. When in 640 or 1024 resolution, my moniter blurs and makes a strage noise  . I know it's something about the screen refresh rate, but when I change it to be faster, after changing resolutions, the frequency changes again. But that shouldn't happen in the 1024 resolution, where the refresh rate is optimum and this problem doesn't happen with the other games. No problem in 800x600. But that my machine's problem, probably.
So, playing in 800x600, everything maxed out, runs as smooth as silk :D

Same as above but with 1900 instead of 1500.
Crashes every time I load a game.
