Right at the start before the main menu...
It didn't always work for me, so maybe you'll have to try a few times. Just hold the mouse button pressed and move it around while pressing control-d repeatedly.
Or try holding control and mouse and press D repeatedly... Or try doing everything repeatedly...

All i do to get to it is simpily hold down Crtl+D as soon as i run the .exe
i just wish i could run around the demo with all those spells though, instead of being traped in a pitch black void where they have no use ;)

I have an idea for getting the spells into the actual game portion of the demo, but it requires extracting character data from the savegames, a skill which I unfortunately lack, and may in fact be impossible, illegal, or both.

If I start pressing ctrl+D too early, WinXp asks me if I want to delete the file...
If I wait a little to avoid this, i.e. I wait for the window (just before the game fullscreen) to open, it's too late and whether I press ctrl continuously or repeatedly, I just skip the fishtank logo and end up in the main menu. :(

Actually, you only need to hold CTRL down and move the mouse while left-clicking (as if you were drawing a rune) when the game loads. Nice feature... it allows you to find "secret" spells! :)

I wouldn't use it anyway, it spoils all the fun...
