Somehow the guy behind (
http://notrecause.free.fr/) Les esclaves d'Akbaa figured out a way to preview all the visual effects of the spells... which is nice! IMHO
it is in the

Voir tous les sorts à partir de la démo.I only have a small problem with the one sentence that explains how to enable this feature: I'm not able to translate it in a manner that makes sence or works:
the whole sentence:
"Au moment du chargement du jeu, acharnez vous sur la touche CTRL + D, appuyez dessus frénétiquement jusqu'à l'ouverture de la fenêtre de jeu.""Au moment du chargement du jeu,..."

until the opening of the game windowFrom the image he put below this sentence, I gathered that "appuyez dessus frénétiquement " could very well mean: with the mouse button down, move the mouse frantically.
In total this gives me something like:
When the game loads, hold down CTRL+D, with the mouse button down, move the mouse frantically until the opening of game window.did anyone try this? in a manner that worked? please inform me...
oh, btw, it should have something to do with either the start/beginning of the demo, or (less likely, since he describes the loading of the game) the end/departure of the game (funny word that: "
partir").

Wow, it does seem to work. When it's loading up and you have a black screen, hold down ctrl-d and as you thought move the mouse around alot, you'll get the hand and everything, then you can just let up the keys and work it like you were in the game.

What it says is:
"While the game is loading, press CTRL + D repeatedly like a mad until the game window opens"
However, I almost killed my D key, as well as my forearm and it didn't seem to work for me... It just skipped the intro but I ended in the main menu as normal. Where am I wrong?
PS: there is no mention about the mouse in the original French message.

I just know if you hold down ctrl-d and your left mouse button and move it around alot when it's loading up, it seems to work. Only thing is one, if you run out of mana you have to either wait for it to regen or press esc and quit and start Arx again, and two, some of the spell effects aren't what they'll look like in the main game (it's obvious on some of them) and others don't seem to show up at all. Still pretty cool to check out though

Once you're into it, it's just like the game except the whole world is black. You can check your spell book and you have all the runes and all the spells. You're level 10 with pretty high stats on everything.

I'm still a bit confused about when exactly you're supposed to do it. Is it right as the demo loads, like, before the Fishtank logo, or do you click on New Quest and THEN hold down ctrl-d?
